What is Ecopsychology?
An interdisciplinary field of inquiry bridging the sciences and humanities and predicated on the evidence that humanity’s well-being is integrated into the health and sustainability of all of nature.
VGI’s interdisciplinary programs in ecopsychology and sustainability create a new framework for global citizenship and for being residents on the planet.
VGI focuses on preparing students to enter the global community and implement ecopsychological means to solve complex problems. Our online graduate studies are augmented by in-person sessions that meet in environmental habitats.
Degree programs include a Masters and Doctorate degree.
Non-degree programs include Executive Certificate and Introduction Course options.
VGI is awarded grant by Fetzer Institute.

Viridis Graduate Institute’s ecopsychology program participates in the United Nations Decade of Education for Sustainable Development (DESD) under the auspices of United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) to promote awareness and activities pertaining to education for sustainability.
