Goals & Objectives
Certificate Program Goals:
- Provide a forum where we can share creative, transformative, hopeful new images and stories.
- Widen individual perspectives, increase tolerance and enhance connectivity.
- Deepen one's receptivity and connectivity to and with self, other and the world.
- Support the development and realization of new mythologies or world views that will encourage change in a diverse world.
- Promote an ecological ethos in the world.
Certificate in Cultural Mythologies Objectives are to:
- Provide fundamental understanding for how cultures are shaped, how they live, think, flourish, decline, how they find expression, and evolve.
- Provide a deeper awareness of how our individual myth/story and cultural narrative form our belief systems.
- Provide ways in which we might envision changing destructive patterns.
- Provide a comprehensive overview of global mythologies.
- Gain the skills of narrative expression and the ability to teach these skills to others.
Certificate in Ecopsychology Training Objectives are to:
- Provide ideas for engaging in psychological change by utilizing rich metaphors from the natural world.
- Provide fundamental understanding of systems thinking.
- Provide ideas for how to lead innovative sustainable change in communities, organizations,
- nonprofit groups, international business, and government.
- Gain skills in how to practically apply ecopsychological concepts in daily life.
Certification Is Important
ICC Certification Programs help you to:
- Gain practical skills you can use in any vocation and at any level.
- Broaden and deepen your understanding and relational skills with yourself, others and the natural world.
- Build your leadership skills.
- Become more effective.
The Certification Process
Each Certification Program involves the successful completion of all courses and their associated examinations. Certification exams are given on the last day of each course.
Permanent records are maintained. Once you have passed the exams, you will receive your Certification of Completion. CEU's are given at this time.
